I so thoroughly enjoy scaring my children and I've come to realize that if I wait a few weeks in between scares, I can really get them good. The other day I had Shelbi screaming and hiding under the kitchen table when I lunged at her with Kamron's poopy onesie (yes, another one up to his shoulder blades!). I was laughing so hard and told Dallin that I had scared Shelbi really bad (those were not my EXACT words). About a half hour later, Shelbi presents herself to us, clutching her favorite doll and says, "You can't scare the freaking crap out of my dolly!" I looked at Dallin, laughing...yes I laughed and admitted that the proud parenting moment belonged to me. Sigh. It was really funny!

That is so funny. Aren't kids so fun?
You are hilarious! I can just see Shelbi saying that! Yeah we've had a few of those moments, where you can tell exactly where their saying came from!
We must be a lot alike, you and I.
I get a strange perverse sort of pleasure out of reading scary stories to my kids. One day I read "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" in an extremely scary and menacing way and both Evelyn and Riis begged me to stop. Ha! (poor kids)
I already enjoy watching Jordan when I can startle her. It will be fun when she is old enough to really scare.
