Moving the tassel

Gav and Shelbi came running downstairs a few days ago, both crying. I thought they were fighting over something and that's when I saw Gav's mouth full of blood. I asked Shelbi why she was crying and she said, "'Cuz Gav just got hurt." I think the blood scared her. Gavin was jumping around and hit his chin on his dresser. He bit his tongue hard enough to put a hole in it!

Proud parenting moment #17

I so thoroughly enjoy scaring my children and I've come to realize that if I wait a few weeks in between scares, I can really get them good. The other day I had Shelbi screaming and hiding under the kitchen table when I lunged at her with Kamron's poopy onesie (yes, another one up to his shoulder blades!). I was laughing so hard and told Dallin that I had scared Shelbi really bad (those were not my EXACT words). About a half hour later, Shelbi presents herself to us, clutching her favorite doll and says, "You can't scare the freaking crap out of my dolly!" I looked at Dallin, laughing...yes I laughed and admitted that the proud parenting moment belonged to me. Sigh. It was really funny!

Nabbed!

We finally caught the bunny! It happened in the wee hours of the morning on Wednesday. I have to say that I was seriously doubting we would catch the little rascal after he made an appearance in my bedroom Tuesday night a little after eleven. I thought for sure the stairs would be too difficult to navigate on the way down for such a little bunny. However, he did make it down the stairs and was caught in the trap Dallin had set for him. We set him free on Wednesday night and I told Dal he was forbidden from bringing anymore wildlife into the house!
