He's Here!!!

Little Kamron made his debut on Friday, March 13 at 3:13 a.m. He weighed in at 8 lbs and was 21.5 inches long. We are so thrilled that he is here and healthy. Everything went really well and pretty fast, for me. Of all our children, he has the most hair. In fact, he has more hair now than Gavin did at 1 year! The kids are a little unsure of him right now. I think they keep waiting for someone to come and pick him up! But they do love to give him hugs and put the binky in his mouth. Here are a few photos of our newest edition!

We mourn the loss of a lego!

Gavin and Shelbi were playing legos in their room and I was downstairs. Gavin comes slowly down the stairs and stand before me, eyes brimming with tears, and says, "Mom, I was trying to pull the legos apart with my teeth and...and..." the tears are spilling over. I asked him, "Did you swallow the lego?" He is so sad and answers yes he did. "I'm sorry, Mom. Can I have some water so I can get it out?" I smile and try to explain to him that water isn't going to help the lego out (and it was a VERY tiny lego). He becomes more distraught and I tell him that the lego is on its way to his tummy. "But I don't want it in my belly! Get it out!" I stifle my laugh and explain to him that the only way that lego is coming out is in his poop. He is so serious when he asks (and the tears are still pouring), "Will you get it out of my poop then?" EW! I tell him no and that the lego is so small, we probably won't be able to see it. "Can't you cut the poop apart?" I am so not doing that. I tell him no and that the lego is just gone. "Maybe Dad will dig it out for me," he says. I tell him he can ask, which he does. Dallin laughs and tells him no. We can always buy more legos! The tears have stopped and I am hoping (after talking to Gav about all this) that he will choose not to put things in his mouth that don't belong!
